Outdoor Learning with the Foxes

This week we had great fun working outside with Oly Cooper; he likes working outdoors and making mud pies!

He showed us how squirrels survive the winter by hiding their food and we practised this by playing 'Hide and Seek' with pinecones.

We got very dirty making tree faces using wet mud and leaves, stones and twigs to decorate them.

Some of us kept wanting to wash our hands all of the time........ but Willow didn't!

See if you can spot some faces on the trees.

We had lots of fun making them.

Oly also showed us how to charm the worms by making pitter-patter sounds on the ground with sticks.

We didn't think it would work but just look what happened.

We had a great time learning outdoors!

A CHRISTMAS SURPRISE

We would like to say a very big thank you to our special visitor, the one and only Father Christmas, who dropped in to see us all before Christmas.

We have all been so good in 4/3 Foxes that Father Christmas even left us some special presents to share.

Have a look at us unwrapping our gifts.

We got some playdough with tools and boards, and some lovely Christmas books.
Check out these titles for yourself.
